Musings, thoughts and stories about my experience with field training, facilitating and anything else related to consciousness-as-cause.

A good friend of mine told me that during the days of Rosh Hashana (the Jewish new year), the highest in spirit and happiest you get will set the stage for the highest in spirit and happiest you will feel throughout the year.
So for the past day or so I have been more aware of bringing myself to the consciousness that I wish to embody throughout the year. I have been allowing myself to be happy. I have been giving myself to good thoughts and to feeling connected and immersed in the glorious present moment.
Now this is well and good and a wonderful practice. Yet in terms of consciousness there is only the present and this focusing of intention can be done at any point. Each moment is a new year a new opportunity to be who I wish to be.
- A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences.
- An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.
- A loss of interest in judging other people.
- A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of other.
- A loss of interest in conflict.
- A loss of the ability to worry.
- Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.
- Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature.
- An increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen.
The last one is my favorite
